The Revellers are a beginners and intermediate string orchestra project designed to celebrate the progress of fledgling string players, both young and old. Our aim is to inspire and motivate them to continue their exciting learning journey. 

Bespoke arrangements and compositions allow all participants to play alongside the 40-strong Revelation Strings orchestra and to meet and perform with internationally renowned string players including cellist Matthew Sharp and violinist David le Page. 

The Revellers were originally formed at the request of strings teachers from within the Revelation Strings and has now been running for more than four years. The players range from those who have only had a handful of lessons through to approximately grade five standard. Many of the members who originally joined as Revellers have since gone on to become part of the Revelation Strings orchestra as their skills have developed. 

The only pre-requisites for joining The Revellers are a big smile and a willingness to have a go so if you or your child would be interested in taking part please contact us for further information.
