On Monday 17th December Revelation Strings joined pupils from Meadowfield School in Sittingbourne for their wonderful Secondary Carol Concert. It was lovely to see the staff and students all taking part in singing, signing, playing, acting or working behind the scenes.
Some of the students also joined us in a performance of Vivaldi's Winter, demonstrating snow, wind, shivering and stamping through the music. Performances were tremendously varied and included some wonderful singing performances of Christmas favourites from "Jingle Bells" and "Little Donkey" to "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem".
At the end of the performance we were treated to cups of tea and wonderful mince pies and gingerbread men, all made by the students who were raising money in support of their chosen charities, The Kent Air Ambulance and the Mucopolysaccharide Society.
